Kevin Mackessy is the founder and Broker-Owner of the company. He started Blue Olive Properties in 1999 to handle his own family real estate investments. In 2004, he earned his real estate license and began working with investors. As a result, the company grew quickly. In 2008, the company was opened to all home owners looking for quality property management services . Today the company has grown and now encompasses the entire Metro-Denver area.
Ami Tieman, our Director of Operations, comes to us with a wealth of customer service work experience. She keeps the entire team and the company running smoothly. Ami manages all of our tenant relationships, and also works as our bridge to the accounting professionals we use. A consummate professional, Ami has helped shape the company through her organizational and management skills.
Paul Mackessy is our Leasing Manager. Paul joined the family business as a showing agent after graduating from college. He quickly learned the ropes and now manages our leasing department. Paul has proven to be a highly personable and professional licensed real estate agent, and he also helps first-time buyers navigate the home buying process. Paul handles our blogging and social media activity, and he is a great writer. Paul works hard to get the word out to our clients about our suite of professional services.
John Schmalz is the Transaction Cordinator for the real estate team. John has an eye for detail and he keeps all our real estate transactions organized and running smoothly. John also works with buyers and is a knowledgeable agent with great instincts when it comes to finding the right home.
Shenia is our Maintenance Manager, ensuring all properties we manage are fully protected and proper maintenance is ordered quickly and performed to our high standards. She also organizes our inspection and sprinkler maintenance programs. Shenia keeps our vendor network strong by seeking out, vetting, and using a wide variety of qualified maintenance contractors. Shenia brings years of property management experience to our team. Her can-do attitude helps keep all the properties we manage in top condition.
